Hong Kong DIsneyland is the first theme park and is located on reclaimed land in Penn’y Bay, Lantau Island. The first day of commercial operation on 12 September 2005. Disney truly rejected the problem of cultural backlash. They attempted to incorporate the Chinese culture, customs and tradtion with those of Westerns. Their efforts could be found at everywhere of this park. You can see the Mickey wearing traditional Chinese dress clothing at the front door.
The park consists of six themed areas: Main Street, U.S.A, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch and Toy Story Land. Each section contains several facilities with a great realization.
